It looks like there is a weather event predicted for Thursday. I will be making a decision on whether to have the meeting or not by 5pm on Thursday. I will be posting on the website, meetup.com and sending out email.

This talk will cover using ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana as a cooperative software collection to index and search your log entries. After covering the basics of what each piece of software does, we will cover how to use the three together (along with some other freely available tools) to centralize all of your logs into a simple, searchable web interface."

Bio:

Peter is the Director of IT for Stack Exchange, where he spends most of his time trying to act less like a Director and more like a Technologist. He's been in the IT field since 2001.
