#nerdlearn x NSNorth presents: Getting ready for the Apple Watch

Details
We’re teaming up with our friends from NSNorth (http://nsnorth.ca/) for a #nerdlearn that’s dedicated to the Apple Watch.
#nerdlearn is our night for Toronto developers who love to learn. Join TWG and event host Dessy Daskalov (CTO, Nudge Rewards) for a fun and friendly night exploring a particularly pressing topic with a panel of expert developers. Pizza, drinks and good times guaranteed.
With the Apple Watch due to be released in April, it’s an exciting time for developers to be exploring the wearable space. You may be wondering what sort of opportunities are out there for devs to make an impact, or if dedicating resources to developing for the Apple Watch is a smart move right now.
Join us on Thursday, February 19th for a special NSNorth edition of #nerdlearn and let our panelists guide you. You will hear their perspectives on what it’s like developing and designing for the Apple Watch, the impact it may have on their business, and whether or not you need to be planning for it.
Panelists: Brian Gilham (http://twitter.com/bgilham) of TWG, Mark Pavlidis (http://twitter.com/mhp) of Flixel Photos Inc., Philippe Casgrain (http://twitter.com/@philippec) of NSNorth and Georgia Dow (http://twitter.com/Georgia_Dow) of iMore.
Working on your own Apple Watch app? Thinking about it? Come on out! Bring your friends, have some pizza and beer, and #nerdlearn with us and some great panelists.
About #nerdlearn
#nerdlearn is a super casual, pizza-fuelled jam for developers who love to learn. The event takes place at TWG’s studio (425 Adelaide St W, #300).
Doors open at 6pm and we’ll have drinks and pizza on offer whilst you mingle with other developers. The panel starts at 6:30 p.m. and will run for about an hour. Although we do have a general plan for the discussion, we encourage you to get involved throughout the hour, ask our panelists tough questions, and shout out your opinions.
Dessy Daskalov will be on hand to keep the fighting clean and field your questions. The more you #nerdlearn, the happier our panelists are!
Please pass on this invitation - bring your developer and designer friends!
