Session Details:
We will run through a mid-to-high level overview of some of the MANY new and improved features of the SQL Server relational engine in the 2016 release. There are so many things to cover out we sadly won't be able to get to many, if any, demos. Trust me though - that is a GOOD thing because it shows there is a LOT waiting for you when you decide to (hopefully soon!) upgrade!!
Speaker Details:
Kevin Boles is a SQL Server expert, working exclusively with the product since v6.5. With over 20 years of database experience and over 45,000 man hours of SQL Server engine experience, he holds many related certifications, is an MCT and was a SQL Server MVP from 2007 to 2012. Kevin has been a very successful independent consultant for over 15 years. His passion is the relational engine, especially designing, building, analyzing and tuning high-performance database applications.

As always the meeting will begin at 6:00PM with a 30 minute networking session in conjunction with the Birmingham .NET Meetup group with the presentation beginning at 6:30. Food and beverages will be provided.
