The old days of building infrastructure is rapidly disappearing instead we are left with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Infrastructure as Code allows you to build your infrastructure (networks, virtual machines, load balancers, and connection topology) in a descriptive model. In this talk Lauren and Zarina will discuss what exactly is Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and why do we need it. They will demonstrate how easy it is to build infrastructure using an IaC tool (Which you can also build at home), and what to do next.

Zarina Meeran - Bio

Zarina is currently a Cloud System Developer at Cloudreach focusing on Cloud Development and Computer Networks.
In the last few years, she has been designing and implementing public enterprise cloud to on-premise infrastructure for an insurance company as well as private cloud connectivity for a large retail bank using Microsoft Azure.
She has her own Youtube channel where she uploads animated videos related to Infrastructure. She also has her own IT Blogging website where she collaborates with peers to upload tech related articles.. Website, Youtube.
