iPizza - the Domino's Pizza Mobile Story

Domino's pizza, the tech leaders of the pizza industry, will be bringing several developers from their eCommerce team, their new iPhone app, and some pretty tasty pizza to the July Mobile Monday Ann Arbor. If you haven't heard the story of the online ordering service that Domino's has built, then you are in for a treat. This is your chance to hear about what is actually a pretty exciting technology company, that just happens to sell pizza, and their story about managing and supporting hypergrowth ecommerce and how it has all evolved towards the building of an incredibly robust and capable mobile platform. Just to give you an idea of the magnitude of volume they have to support, they sell 1.2 million pizzas within a few hours during Superbowl Sunday alone, just through the website. They've had a mobile web app for quite some time and are just launching their iPhone app.
