Augmented Reality is a very powerful tool. It can be used for entertainment, training and is a really great tool for visualising things and creating good games but sometimes, there are just some really bad AR applications out there.

You don’t have to be an expert to make good AR applications. I will take you through how to make a good AR application and some examples of the good, the bad and the ugly!

Speaker Profile:
Tharanga is a Junior Software Engineer at MAXART. She makes Augmented Reality applications for training people. She’s also the organiser of the Brisbane LGBT+ and Allies in Tech Meetup. She loves cake (especially the chocolate variants), video games and dogs!
