On Monday December 6th, we will be hearing from Chris Conlan, MD of Love Creative (https://www.lovecreative.com/) who will be telling us more about his 14 years of agency experience, charting his rise to where he is now and sharing insights from along the way.

Then we will briefly hear from Sandy Lindsay of Tangerine PR (https://tangerinepr.com/) who will give us an overview of the Creative Break (https://www.creativebreak.info/) programme, which gives creative businesses like yours, the opportunity to recruit talented young professionals for a substantially knocked down price.

Chris Conlan
Chris has been Managing Director of LOVE since 2008, having previously been the agency's Head of Digital. Chris has a total of 14 years agency experience, gained initially in large network advertising agencies (JWT, McCann Erickson) and more recently in independent digital design studio magneticNorth before joining LOVE in 2007. Chris has developed strategy and managed award winning projects across clients including Durex, the BBC, Kellogg's, Dr Martens and Sony Playstation.

Sandy Lindsay
Named Northwest Businesswoman of the Year 2010, Sandy started her marketing career 20 years ago, moved into PR consultancy five years later and launched her own PR consultancy in 2002, which was named NW PR Consultancy of the Year 2008.

Sandy specialises in helping companies prepare for and handle crises and, during her career, has promoted and protected some of the world’s leading brands.

Sandy is Project Director of Manchester Masters – a graduate recruitment and retention programme, Vice Chair of the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester, and an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise for the Northwest Regional Development Agency.

Mike Carter
Mike has over 15 years experience of recruiting in the North of England. He has a keen interest in all things digital and creative and has been privaliged to work with some of the North's greatest companies and talent over the years.

Orchard is a specialist digital, creative and marketing recruitment company and was one of the first creative recruitment companies in the North of England, running for over 17 years now.

Al Mackin
Al is the co-founder of theEword and is managing director of the agency. theEword was formed in 2006 as the demand for professional marketing agencies grew. Marcus Lord
Marcus is the Business Development Manager in the Faculty of Art and Design
at Manchester Metropolitan University. Here he is responsible for increasing and developing links between the Faculty and practitioners, businesses, public sector organisations and galleries.

International Anthony Burgess Foundation
The International Anthony Burgess Foundation encourages and supports public and scholarly interest in all aspects of the life and work of Anthony Burgess. They have an extensive library, archive and study centre containing Burgess's books, music and papers. They also have a performance venue where they present new work by writers, artists and musicians.

Founded in 2003 by Liana Burgess (1929-2007), they are an entirely independent charity that welcomes all individuals and institutions interested in Burgess's work.
