Film Discussion: The Tale (HBO/MAX)

The Tale is directed by Jennifer Fox. The movie is based on the director's own experience of having a 'boyfriend' at 12 years old. Growing up she only thought of it as her first relationship. Now in her 40s she confronts her memories of what happened with new perspective.

I think there are certain topics that can be challenging to communicate and this movie does a great job and is fully engrossing.
