Software challenges in First Robotics Competition
Details
For this meeting, we are back in the Prague Event Room at Lazy Monk.
After everyone's had some pizza and a chance to grab a (root)beer, we'll start the meeting. Instead of asking folks to give introductions - we've done that enough - we'll start with a prompt: In one sentence or less, tell us an interesting problem you've solved since our last meeting in March.
FEATURE: Software challenges in First Robotics Competition
Alex Hunt
This talk will cover my experiences coaching high school kids to program 125 pound robots. This is not so much a rehash of the API as it is an overview of the system of hardware and software tools that allow local kids to compete in the national championship that is First Robotics.
Alex Hunt is an electrical engineer just getting back into a career of hardware testing (Texas Instruments, Maxim Integrated, and now HPE) after a long hiatus raising children.
This meeting is sponsored by Jamf. They are on the internet at https://www.jamf.com/
