Bethany Annual Easter Egg Hunt (and Concert)

Movie Fans! Thankfully, after this insane winter, the weather is finally getting warmer. And while it isn't quite outdoor movie weather yet, we can finally shed those coats and spend some time outdoors.

On the same lawn that we run the movie nights, Bethany will host families and the Ravenswood Community for their annual Easter Egg hunt. The hunt is on at noon at noon on Easter Sunday (April 20 this year). Eggs will be hidden around our courtyard and prizes will be provided - so bring friends and neighbors to celebrate with kids of all ages!

This year, in addition to the Egg Hunt, Bethany is doing something rather spectacular for the holiday. During the Easter service, there will be a concert featuring Bach's Easter Cantata: “Erfreut euch ihr Herzen”, BVW 66, by J.S. Bach. The cantata presents a dialog between fear and hope and will be performed on period instruments. Featuring soloists: Tiffany Desmond, Adrianne Blanks, John Warren and LaRob Payton; conducted by Bethany Music Director Stephen Hargreaves.
