Fine Liquorature Book Club: December Meetup

Details
Join us for our December book club meetup at Bistro Chi in Quincy Center (37 Cottage Ave.) on Monday, Dec. 12. This month, we'll be discussing "The Tools: 5 Tools to Help You Find Courage, Creativity, and Willpower--and Inspire You to Live Life in Forward Motion" by Phil Stutz and Barry Michels. Let's start thinking about where - and who - we want to be in 2017 - together!
About the book: The Tools is a dynamic, results-oriented practice that defies the traditional approach to therapy. Instead of focusing on the past, this groundbreaking method aims to deliver relief from persistent problems and restore control—and hope—to users right away. Every day presents challenges—big and small—that the tools transform into opportunities to bring about bold and dramatic change in your life.
And as a special bonus: If you're planning on coming to our January meeting on the 9th, bring a wrapped book to our December meeting for our special holiday book exchange - as a Yankee swap. It can be one you own, a secondhand one that you've purchased especially for this meetup (don't spend too much!), or a library book - if it's one you love and want to share with a member of the group or if you've heard of it and want an opinion about it. Then on Jan. 9, we'll each talk about how we felt about each one.
If you'd like to participate, stop by the circulation desk at the Main branch (40 Washington St.) and ask for a copy of the book; they are held at the desk under the Grownups 20/30s book club account. Then, just show up at Bistro Chi at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12, ready to talk about what you liked and didn't like about the book. If you're on Goodreads, friend us (http://www.goodreads.com/thomascranelibrary) to carry the conversation beyond our meetup.
Please, if at all possible, bring cash to our meetup if you'd like to order food and drink. Thanks!
