The new rider Basic Rider Course is a great way to earn your motorcycle endorsement; but it doesn't go far enough. Gather with friends to learn what new riders take years to understand.
This inaugural meeting will cover the basics not covered in the BRC: how to keep safe in traffic. How to use advanced braking to your advantage? What resources are available to the life-long learner?
This first meeting will be held online, but it is the intent of this group to meet on a regular basis to practice what we learn.
Meeting Agenda:
- Introduction and goal setting
- What every rider knows (or should)
- Real-world considerations for the new rider
- The three things you must know to do a perfect U-turn
- Where not to be in traffic
- Planning our first in-person meet-up
