Cafe Social will take place in KC Peaches on Nassau St. on Thursday September 22nd.
We will be back to our usual event. Coffee and chats but with a bit of change - We will be hosting a book exchange!
All genres are welcome. The most important thing is that you enjoyed reading it and would like to pass it on to someone else.
It’s really easy to take part:
1. Come along, grab a coffee/cake/food, whatever takes your fancy.
2. Bring along a book.
3. All books go into the middle of the table for everyone to have a look at.
4. Pick a new book, bring it home and enjoy!
Everyone is welcome! Weather your someone who reads occasionally or all the time.
If it’s your first meetup or you are nervous, just send a message and someone will meet you at the door.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
**This is a swap event: You will get to keep the book you choose to take from the table but someone else will get to keep the one you brought with you originally.
Cafe social will be taking place at the EPIC museum at Dublins Docklands at 13:00. The museum covers the history of Irish emigration. We’ll meet at 12:45 outside the museum
We’ll spend the afternoon looking around the museum at the the different exhibitions and maybe grab a coffee afterwards.
Entry into the museum is 13 euro each
Looking forward to seeing you all there😊
Cafe Social will take place in KC Peaches Dame Street on 10th October.
We will be hosting a postcard writing and swapping event, so come along, grab a coffee, some cake and make new friends.
The idea of a postcard swap is that you write a nice message, some kind words or even a mini motivational letter for someone else on your card. All cards are then collected and handed out at random to group members at the end of the event so you will leave with a nice postcard to take home.
YOU WILL NEED:
- A postcard (these are available from most
Carrols stores and newsagents in Dublin)
- A pen
- Some kind words to share.
*I will have spare postcards and pens if anyone is unable to get one. Just let me know on the day and I’ll give you one.
If this is your first time attending or you are nervous, just message one of the hosts and we will meet you at the door.
Join us for in the Botanic Gardens for an Autumn walk and a coffee to-go from the Cafe. There is a pumpkin exhibition on and also some Halloween events around the gardens.
Glasnevin Cemetry is also next to the Botanic Gardens. The Cemetery is rich in history and can be accessed through the gardens should anyone like to walk around it.
The Botanic Gardens are accessible by car, bike or bus. Parking so €1 per hour and €2 per hour after the first two hours. Buses that stop at the Gardens are the 4, 9, 83, 155.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
