Bluegrass Brunch

High and Rising plays at The Joint on Cedar Ave next to The Cabooze. I've been hosting the Psychedelic Brunch and it has been so much fun that I decided to start hosting Bluegrass Brunch too.
High and Rising came out of the northern midwest and the banks of the mighty Mississippi River to grow this “Groovy Grass” band of music makers. High & Rising is a unique combination of instruments that bring a fresh groovy sound to the Bluegrass & Folk Americana scene.
It is very casual outside with big picnic tables in the courtyard. Breakfast menu served all day! Great hash browns! Free screwdriver or Bloody Mary comes with a meal order. Food service can be slow so best to order food as soon as you are seated. Music from 11:30-3. Our group will meet at 11:30 and you are welcome to stay however long you choose. No cover charge. Look for me with a 4th of July hat on about half way back on the bar side.
High and Rising has several records out and has done numerous Grateful Dead songs in concerts.

Fun time, and inexpensive food and drinks. You may want to bring earplugs, hat, and sunscreen, just in case!
