Hi! I realize this particular play may not be everyone's cup of tea (or witches brew...) However~ Description of this performance reads as follows: A charming devil arrives in the quiet village of Edmonton to bargain for the souls of its residents in exchange for their darkest wishes. Elizabeth should be his easiest target, having been labeled a “witch” and cast out by the town, but her soul is not so readily bought. As the devil returns to convince her – and then returns again – unexpected passions flare, alliances are formed, and the village is forever changed. An inventive riff on a Jacobean drama, this sharp, subversive fable debates how much our souls are worth when hope is hard to come by.
- CONTENT ADVISORY:
This show includes adult language, violence, death, the Devil, selling souls to the Devil, Medieval gender and class bias, and descriptions of witchcraft. But no actual witches.
This show has a reduced cost of Economic Accessibility of $15 but ordering that rate begins on March 3rd. Make sure you pick the April 3rd performance. When you locate April 3rd box, and all the varied costs come up, scroll down to Economic Accessibility to pick how many seats you will want - at that rate, 2 is the limit. The limit of 25 allowed is for members...however, you can choose to bring a guest if you'd like - they just won't count in with the 25.
I look forward to seeing you on April 3rd at around 7PM! It begins at 7:30. I will be there by 6:45.
