Power of 10 band - PLUS!!! at Steele County Free Fair August 15th

The Steele County Free Fair is the largest county fair in Minnesota, and as the name says, admission is FREE. The fair website: https://scff.org/
What's the "PLUS!!!" ? Come early and be guided around the fair by a proud Owatonnan and passionate fair enthusiast: our host, Randy.

For fair fun prior to the music, meet near the Wenger Fair Square Stage at 3:30 PM. The Wenger Fair Square Stage is in the southwest area of the fairgrounds. See the maps below.

For music, also meet near the Wenger Fair Square Stage,
at 6:15 PM.

Music starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 9:00 PM.

Power of 10 features dynamic vocalists, an awe-inspiring
horn section and a superb rhythm section performing a mix of timeless and current hits. Power of 10 will provide an entertaining, high energy, and exciting performance.

Where to meet / what to look for- more detail:
Our host, Randy, looks like his photo. Gary, the event organizer, looks like his photo, and will be wearing his baseball style cap: multi-colored (red, orange, yellow, green), with a jungle leaves design.

For fair fun at 3:30, look in the area where there are benches and picnic tables. If there is seating available there that's where we'll be. If no seating is available, look for us standing, in the shade, near that area.

For music, at 6:15, look first in the area where there are benches and picnic tables. If there is seating available there that's where we'll be.
If no seating is available there look in the bleachers. The first choice there is in the very top row of the bleachers, the next choice is the next row down, etc. If there is also no seating available in the bleachers then look for us off to the side standing or sitting in folding chairs. If it’s hot and shade is desirable and there is an available shady spot we'll be there.
For the music, Gary will have a 5 ft high green pole with a balloon attached to it near his chair.

You may want to bring a lawn chair, or not. It’s up to you. After Power of 10 performs there is an option to maybe roam around the fair a little and check out other music and attractions at the fair.

Parking
The “official” fair parking is off of 18th St or Austin Road, or handicapped parking is off of Park St. It costs $5. There is a shuttle golf cart that runs between that parking and the Wenger Fair Square Stage, where we'll be meeting. There are several other lots around that charge for parking. Look in the S. Cedar Ave and S.E. 18th St area, near the southwest corner of the fairgrounds.
