2026 Oscar Nominated ANIMATED Short Films at the Riverview Theater!!!

Hi! These will be 6 short 2026 Oscar Nominated ANIMATED films. I look forward to these each year because, artistically, they are so unusual and interesting!! Although these shows begin at 2:45, please arrive by 2:15, pay for your ticket, and go past the concessions, where all the sofas and chairs are, to meet us all there. Matinees are $5 THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH!! and concessions CASH ONLY TOO are super reasonable to purchase. I like to guess which ones will win what category before the Oscars come on March 15th. Maybe after, we can discuss a little bit what are favorite one was and why!
The 1960's theater is huge and has cushy seating and then stadium seating. Stadium seating isn't as cushy but you can always see better and over the heads of those sitting in front of you. The cushy seating, which is flatter to the floor, has more room and I think is more comfortable. If you choose the more comfortable seating, you just have to hope no one 7 feet tall will sit directly in front of you!!
