Free parking
If you get there early you may be able to find a spot in the park's parking lot, just off W. 84th St.
Other parking: 1) There has in the past been lots of free parking on the west side of Chalet Rd. There's a paved walking path over there near the northwest corner of Normandale Lake that leads right to the bandshell area. It's maybe a quarter of a mile/10 minute walk.
2) There might be available parking, for free, in the 8400 Tower ramp, which is accessible via a driveway to the east from Normandale Lake Blvd, the first turn on the right (just after going under the skyway) as you turn onto Normandale Lake Blvd from 84th St. It's about the same distance to walk as the lot on the west side of Chalet Rd.
** Caution: pay attention to posted signs.

What to bring
The bandshell performance venue is a natural grass amphitheater with no permanent seating, so bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on.
You may also want to bring water, earplugs for when near the band (your call) and mosquito repellant (also, your call, of course). Maybe an umbrella, just in case.
It's a good idea to bring both cash and credit card.
