The International Reggae All Stars are a truly global Minnesota-based band, with members hailing from Venezuela to Trinidad, and Ghana to Kingston Jamaica. Featuring one of today’s hottest reggae vocalists, Kingston native Lynval “Golden Voice” Jackson, the IRAS play reggae, dancehall and all the Bob Marley classics, and bring peace, love, and positive vibrations with them wherever they go.

Free.
Music starts at 7:00. I’ll be there by 6:00 PM. (I have an email into the Hopkins Center for the Arts to get an idea of how long the performance will last. I'll post further information here as I receive it.)

Join me early for introductions and conversation before the music begins. Dancing is optional (of course), but encouraged.

The Hopkins Center for the Arts puts on the Sunset Series Outdoor Concerts, of which this musical performance is a part.

Rain or Shine!
If there's rain, by 3 pm the day of the concert it will be announced that they’re moving the performance indoors a short distance away away, to Depot Coffee House, 9451 Excelsior Blvd, Hopkins. Look for an announcement here :[ https://www.facebook.com/hopkinsartscenter/](https://www.facebook.com/hopkinsartscenter/)

Bring a lawn chair. I recommend bringing both cash and credit card.
Your call additional items to consider: water, ear plugs (I highly recommend), sunscreen, mosquito repellant, and you might want to bring an umbrella to have on hand in case of a late-developing (after the call was made to go ahead outdoors) passing rain shower.

Plenty of Free Parking
Municipal parking ramp and street parking. Of course, there are some parking restriction signs in some areas to pay attention to.

Food
There’s no mention of food trucks in the event descriptions I’ve seen, but it wouldn’t surprise me if there are one or two there. Additionally, there are numerous restaurants and bars & grills in downtown Hopkins, as well as nearby fast food options.

How to find us
I look like my photo. Look for my multi-colored jungle leaves design cap, and look for a dark blue pennant on a 5 ft. green pole, which will be near us. We’ll be sitting in the shade, close enough for up-front dance area quick access. As you face the stage from the audience, near the front, there is a hill to your right. I'll set up my pole and pennant and sit there. During the performance many of us will be dancing in the audience area in front of the stage.
