Monthly Hike to Mount Madonna County Park

Join us for the monthly 5K hike at Mount Madonna County Park. On an uphill trip from the Sprig Recreation Area trailhead to Mount Madonna Road, you take in excellent views of southern Santa Clara County and the Inner Coast Range. The wide service road skirts an intermittent creek, crosses boulder-strewn grasslands, swings through chaparral and scrub-oak forest, and finishes in a cool, steep-sided redwood canyon. This is the southernmost segment of the Ridge Trail.

What to bring:
- Comfortable walking shoes to keep you energized
- Layers to stay cozy (it can get cool)
- Water and snacks to keep your spirits high
- Optional: hat, sunscreen, and your camera for capturing memories

We’ll gather at the Spring Recreational Area soon after the entrance.
