About us

The 2026 Upper Gwynedd Pickleball Meetup is coming soon! To help manage crowds at our pickleball courts, Upper Gwynedd Township has created a "Meet Up" group for players to organize games from June to November 2026. Our pickleball coordinators will assist with play organization and plan social events for members.

NEW:  Upper Gwynedd Township is pleased to announce that two of our tennis courts will be converted into pickleball courts, bringing the total to six dedicated courts.  Construction is expected to be completed by May. Please note: All tennis and pickleball courts will be closed during construction.
Please review and complete BOTH steps below to join our group. ***You will not be added until steps 1 & 2 are completed.

For questions, please reach out to Brock at bazeff@uppergwynedd.org

NEW! Level Play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. To enhance the playing experience, we will now offer two levels of play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays:
•             Level 1: Beginner to Lower-Intermediate
•             Level 2: Solid Intermediate to Advanced
Players will select their level using the self-rating guide below when they RSVP.
Pickleball Skill Self-Rating Guide: If you can’t play at a higher level consistently, rate yourself lower.
Level 1: Beginner to Lower-Intermediate
·        Inconsistent serves, returns, and groundstrokes
·        Still learning positioning, teamwork, and strategy
·        Dinks are attempted but often miss or pop up
·        Limited use of third-shot drops or resets
·        Focus is on keeping the ball in play
Level 2: Solid Intermediate to Advanced
·        Consistent serves, returns, and deeper groundstrokes
·        Controlled dinks and soft shots
·        Uses third-shot drops and resets successfully
·        Anticipates play and works well with a partner
·        Uses strategy and targets opponents’ weaknesses

Coordinators will designate courts based on registrations for each level.
Friday and Saturday mornings (9 AM–12 PM) will remain Open Play for all levels.
