Staunton River Battlefield State Park - History Trails & Observation Towers

The Staunton River Battle was an important battle in the civil war as Union troops sought to cut supply lines to the south. Here we can explore the large visitor centers, and meander along the interpretative trials to learn more about this battle and see the Staunton River RR bridge which was under seige. We will also take the short nature trail to the 2 wildlife observation towers.
