A Write The Docs hackup is an informal way to work on tech docs at a comfortable, public location. Two things make hackups go:
- Bring food and drinks with you to make yourself comfortable.
- Bring a tech doc project and the necessary writing tools.
To guage whether or not a participant is interested in heads-down work or being interactive, ask them. Either approach works, and any participant is free to change their mind given their state of mind and energy at the time.
