Claire Davis will speak about Cork City Council’s journey with Open Data and some of the key challenges and share what is being reflected in the digital strategy work that is happening at present where the role ofdata/information is coming to the fore very strongly.
Oliver Dawkins is the Data & Training Coordinator on the SFI-funded Building City Dashboards project, based in the National Centre for Geocomputation at Maynooth University. He will talk about all the work going on in Maynooth in terms of developing the Cork and Dublin Dashboards and also some of the interesting things they are doing with the data eg. looking at Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality
