Nature-Theme Board Game Nights (last Friday of every month!)

Details
Once a month the Plainsboro Preserve opens their nature center late to the public, and hosts a board game night and poetry readings. (I run both of these activities the final Friday of every month, at 5:30-7:30 pm+ for games/puzzles and then from 7:30-8:30 pm-ish for poetry.)
These activities are free and preregistration is requested (but if you respond here to let me know you’re interested, I will put your name on the list).
These games and poetry nights are nature-themed, and I have quite a few board games and puzzles for people to share that fit that theme - but feel free to bring your own to share and play as well! (Family friendly type games only please.. We do mainly have adults show up for this activity, but every now and then families with kids attend as well.)
Here is a list of a few of the games we regularly have on hand to play:
- Trellis
- Mariposas
- Bird Spotting Opoly
- Catan
- Ecosystem
- Ticket to Ride
- Happy Salmon
- Scram! Critters vs. Campers
- Moose Match Mayhem
- Water Works
- Trails : A Parks Game
- Command of Nature
- Cat Ladies of Maple Street
- Couch Skeletons
- Bird Call
We also have a lot of traditional board games, as well as a ton of nature-themed puzzles, and a group of adult Lego enthusiasts also regularly attends these game nights. They bring their Lego projects to work on and build together (so if you’re into Legos, feel free to bring them because that is an option as well!)
I usually put out things like tea and hot chocolate, sometimes coffee. People are welcome to bring dinner or snacks to eat while they play.
More info can be found on the Preserve’s website:

Or feel free to message me :) Thanks!
SPECIAL NOTE: The Preserve’s street address is: 80 Scott’s Corner Toad, Cranbury, NJ 08512 (don’t put in Plainsboro as the town or GPS will take you to the other side of the lake!)
