Hike at Cheesequake State Park & Swim at Hook's Creek Lake

Hey! Let's meet at Cheesequake State Park for a hike! The park entry fee for New Jersey residents is $10. For non-New Jersey residents, it's $20.

Instead of meeting at the trailhead, we'll meet at Hook's Creek Lake (it's down State Park Road). You should follows the signs for Hook's Creek Lake, or enter it into your GPS.

We'll follow a combination of the yellow, red, green, and blue trails. The hike will probably take about two hours. Afterwards we can jump into the lake for a swim, so be sure to bring a bathing suit, towel, chair, etc.

There's a snack/food bar at the lake. We're also permitted to bring our own food with us, or we can go out to a bar/restaurant afterwards. It's whatever people want to do. You can learn more about the park here.

Be sure to bring sunscreen and bug spray. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!
