Pine Bush Hike and Nature Photography
Details
"Known for its gently rolling sand-dunes, the Albany Pine Bush Preserve is home to a unique variety of rare plants and animals, including the federally endangered Karner blue butterfly"
We'll meet by the Pine Bush Discovery Center and hike the yellow/and blue trails that loop back to the parking lot (approx. 3 miles), stopping to take photos as inspiration strikes. The trails are well-marked and there are some gentle rolling hills.
Bring: water, a camera of some sort (a cellphone camera works too!), sensible footwear for walking on the trails, insect repellant.
Visit https://www.albanypinebush.org/ for more information about the preserve :)
