What we’re about
I just discovered Meetup a short while ago, but after joining a few of the social groups, I noticed that many of them hardly ever have any events (that and everyone and their mother is trying to get you to join a social bowling league for some reason). Call me crazy, but I thought the point of having a Meetup group was to actually meet up.
The only thing I'm looking to get out of this MeetUp is the fun of your collective company. Shouldn't that be what Meetup is really all about? O.K., drinking...
But, I need your help! So, whether you're new to the city, or you're in my boat where many of your friends moved or got married, or you just plain want to meet some new interesting people, together let's create an active group to gather some fun folks at the same time in the same place and let the good times roll.
Watch out though, this Meetup group is actually going to have meetups.
