Kootenai Creek Hike

Hello fellow hikers!
This week's hike will take us up Kootenai Creek this Sunday. The hike in will last about an hour, or slightly longer if the group feels like it, before we turn around and head back.

Getting to the trailhead is simple, it's a straight shot off Highway 93 with a gentle incline, so no worries about the drive.

If you'd rather not drive and would like to carpool, I'll be at the south Walmart by the Lawn and Garden Center at 10:20. I'll be driving a silver Mazda sedan, and I have space for two people (the second person would need to share the backseat with my small dog). I plan to leave Walmart around 10:25 so we can arrive at the trailhead early. Feel free to leave a comment or message me if you're interested in carpooling.

• Distance: Around 5 miles total
• Duration: 2 hours
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Elevation Gain: Around 500 ft depending on how far we make it.

There will be a variety of different attendee fitness levels from event to event. I ask that you come to the event with a team oriented mindset. We will be hiking as a unit and the goal is for the entire group to complete the hike.
