This week's hike will take us to the House of Sky Trailhead. The trail follows a ridge line that gives great views of the surrounding Missoula area with plenty of yellowing Larch trees on display. We will hike to the top of Mitten Mountain and turn around at that point. It’s also opening weekend for rifle hunting season, so please wear hunter orange or bright clothing for safety.
