Trails and Ales: Mill Brook Preserve (South Loop) and Mast Landing

Details

The alewives have arrived in Mill Brook! If anyone would like to join for a short hike/woodsy walk, we can venture to the viewing pool to see if they’re still there. The trail we’re planning on taking is just over 2 miles. Information about the trail and parking can be found on Alltrails. The link to it is below:

We plan on heading to Mast Landing after the walk. It is about a 10 minute drive from the trail. This portion is optional. I’m not sure about a foodtruck schedule yet.

Notes:
The weather isn’t looking GREAT, but should be fine for a walk through the woods. If the forecast gets worse I’ll make a call Saturday morning.

🐶 Dogs are allowed on leash on this trail and on the patio area at Mast Landing. If you would like to bring your dog, please be sure to adhere to the dog policies for the trail and that they are dog and people friendly to ensure the safety of others.

I don’t know if you all have noticed, but it has been quite rainy 🙄. With that said, we can expect a generous amount of mud, so waterproof shoes or footwear that you don’t mind getting muddy is recommended. Other things to consider bringing: bug spray, rain jacket, water bottle.
