DATE & TIME

  • Saturday, June 21
  • Meet 6:30 PM – play past sunset (≈ 8:30 PM)

WHERE TO UNFOLD THE FUN

  • Siesta Key’s main beach, between the Yellow and Green lifeguard towers—we’ll set up a little closer to the Green tower for more space  .
  • Look for big blankets, a Catan board, and whichever colored shirt I post the day of.

***

### What to Expect

  • Games on the sand: I'll be bringing bringing Catan + Rummikub. Please bring extras—More Catan Boards or Other Games that multiple people can play (and that require some skill, not pure chance), like Uno / Uno No Mercy, and decks of cards (for Egyptian Rat Screw!), or any other beach‑friendly favorites.
  • Chill playlist: I’ll have a Bluetooth speaker; a backup is welcome if you’ve got one, especially if you have a big one since it's possible the group will be big.
  • Snack / Food share: Pack finger foods, fruit, chips, whatever fuels your strategy brain - bring for yourself and share with the group! I might pick up some Thai takeout on the way 😎
  • Vibe: friendly, smart and ridiculously good-looking 20s/30s crowd—newcomers welcome and encouraged!
  • Wind happens: If the breeze gets wild we’ll pivot to simpler card games or just enjoy the sunset chat.

### Optional After-Event‑Plan (Unofficial)

  2. Beach Club For Dancing – 5151 Ocean Blvd, DJs & dancing till 2 AM
  3. We’ll decide what we're in the mood for on the fly, as always

***

### What to Bring

  • Large towels/blankets (chairs OK but sand‑level is easiest for games)
  • Your favorite beach‑proof board or card game
  • Snacks / non‑alcoholic drinks (hydration is good) / we can also bring "adult beverages" if anyone wants to drink (responsibly, as always), but will need cups and mixers, like OJ or juice
  • Light jacket for post‑sunset breeze
  • Good sportsmanship & curiosity—no sore losers!

***

### Parking Note

Siesta’s main lot is free but patrols start ticketing around 10 PM. If we migrate to Gilligan’s/Beach Club you can find need on‑street free spots or paid lots along Ocean Blvd.

### How to Find Us

I’ll post what I'm wearing Saturday late afternoon. Walk straight from the main pavilion toward the water; when you hit sand, we'll probably aim to be between the yellow and green, but closer to the Green lifeguard tower. Spot the board‑game circle and say hi! Lost? Text/call Matt (me) (941) 363‑1459.

> Come roll dice, trade sheep, watch the sky go pink, and meet great people before next weekend’s big fire. See you on the quartz sand!
