🎨 💻 ✍️ CREATIVE COWORK WEDNESDAY (20s/30s @ Fox Tail Cafe, Venice FL)
Make progress on your project—writing, coding, art, or anything creative—in a supportive mastermind group with fellow creators at Fox Tail Cafe.

DATE & TIME
Every Wednesday, 6:30 PM – 9:15 PM
Arrive at 6:30 PM to grab coffee/tea/snacks and say hello. Fox Tail closes at 8:00 PM — after that, we'll head out for a walk around the park and keep the conversation going.

WHERE WE'LL SIT
If it's not too hot or rainy, we'll grab a table outside. Otherwise, we'll aim for the high-top table inside — that's where we were last week. If you get there early, feel free to claim the high-top table. If not, we'll pull two tables together outside and gather chairs.

THIS WEEK: MID-CYCLE MASTERMIND
We've already selected our goals for this cycle, so this week is all about masterminding together: sharing progress, talking through challenges, and getting feedback on whatever we're working on. If you're joining us for the first time, you're encouraged and invited to pick a goal of your own on the spot — something challenging but doable that you'd love to make progress on.

WHAT WE DO
This is a creative mastermind group for anyone building something — whether it's a novel, an app, a marketing campaign, or a side project.

We meet weekly to share progress, talk through challenges, and hold each other accountable. Many of us are writing fiction (sci-fi, fantasy, novels, trilogies), building apps, or working on creative business projects (ads, commercials, products).

The only rule: be working towards some sort of creative goal — and enjoy it! Some ideas:

✍️ Writing (fiction, non-fiction, scripts, blogs, etc.)
💻 Coding or app development
🎨 Drawing, design, or visual art
🎵 Music or video essay composition
🎬 Motion graphics or video editing
📊 Any creative project you're building

SESSION STRUCTURE
This is a mastermind-style gathering. The focus is sharing progress, working through challenges, and supporting each other. Here's the flow:

Progress sharing & goal check-in – We've already selected our goals for this cycle. We'll share where we're at, talk through what's working and what's not, and support each other. If you're new, you're invited to pick a goal on the spot — something challenging but doable.
Project sharing & strategy – Anyone can share what they're working on — read an excerpt of your fiction, talk through a challenge, get feedback on strategy. If you have an update on whatever you're working on, bring it. This is the heart of the session.
Walk & talk around the park – When Fox Tail closes at 8:00 PM, we'll head out for a walk around the park — maybe grab a snack along the way — and keep the conversation going. It's a really nice area with shops and a lake, and it's a great way to wrap up the evening.

Alternating weeks: Focus work session at Matt's house
On alternating weeks, we'll meet at my house for a dedicated, focused work session. The emphasis is on getting things done — less sharing and strategy, more heads-down work. Light discussion is okay, but it's more just work, and any sort of discussion is quiet and unstructured. Just bring your project and work alongside fellow creators.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Mastermind & coworking – This is a supportive space to share progress, talk through challenges, and hold each other accountable. Sharing updates, getting feedback on what you're working on, and connecting with other creators — that's the focus.
Casual & welcoming – No pressure to present or share. You can listen, work quietly, or join the conversation — whatever feels right.
Fox Tail Cafe – A really nice cafe in Venice, FL. Right by a lake with a nice park area, shops, and places to grab a snack or dinner after if you're in the mood.
Walk & talk by the lake / downtown– When the cafe closes at 8:00 PM, we'll take a walk around the park and keep chatting — a nice walk-and-talk to wrap up the evening.
Tea and snacks – Feel free to bring snacks to share (always appreciated!)

WHAT TO BRING

Your laptop, notebook, tablet, or whatever tools you need for your project
Headphones if you prefer your own music (but give the group vibe a chance!)
Snacks to share (optional but appreciated)
Open, creative energy
