Salt River Paddleboarding and Tubing

I've been trying to get out to the Salt River more this year, and with my summer getting busy towards the second half I am setting up a paddle/float with another group I am in for late this May. Posting it here as well for those who do not have memorial day plans already. You can either bring a paddle-board, your own tube, or rent through the Salt River Tubing Company. Just want to get people together to have a good time and spend some time on the beautiful Salt River.

Important Notes:
Alcohol - It is quite common for people to bring drinks and beer on the river float. This event is BYOB, you're welcome to share if you wish or not.

Meeting point - I've included notes below regarding various details, but to clarify. You can either float through the Salt River Tubing Company or bring your own float/paddleboard and just meet us there. I will be at the end point as listed below until 9:30 when I will leave for water users to get a parking space. Key time and place is to be at Water Users Recreation Site by 11 and ready to launch. If you are running late please contact me, I will send my phone number to those attending the days before the event.

Goldfield Recreation Site: Goldfield Rd, Fort McDowell, AZ 85264, United States

## Launch Time:

11 AM

## Carpooling:

I will be at the Goldfield Recreation Site at 9, and will leave at 9:30 to get to water users and try to get a parking spot near the water to set up and prepare everything. I encourage people to get there earlier rather then later as it will take longer than you think to inflate paddleboards and etc. Water Users also gets very busy since it is a popular launch point, and I encourage people carpool from Goldfield to Water Users if possible. When I leave for Water Users I will have room in my truck for 3 other people in the cab, and another 2-3 in the bed along with all of our gear and paddleboards.

## Salt River Tubing Company:

If you would rather simply float through the Salt River Tubing Company, I would suggest also getting there around 9-9:30 and catching their buses leaving during the 10-10:30 time period to ensure you are able to meetup with the group before we launch. Look for my blue truck near the bus stop and the river.
