Come have some delicious food at Joybus diner!!! This is a nonprofit organization that helps deliver meals to cancer patients struggling with meals or to families with a child undergoing cancer treatment.
All of their profits go back into their mission.
Each year cancer is found at younger ages….So guys don’t skip your yearly physicals and everyone get your HPV shot if you haven’t already. While it’s most effective prior to being sexually active you can get it up to 45 years old. It prevents about %90 of HPV related cancers when finishing the series prior to adulthood.
“Cancer is the 5th leading cause of death in this age group, behind only accidents, suicide, homicide, and heart disease. It’s the leading cause of death from disease among females in this age group, and is second only to heart disease among males.
Young women are more likely to be diagnosed with cancer than young men, but young men and women are equally likely to die of cancer.”
So go get your checkups everyone! If you are interested in volunteering after please join the WhatsApp so I can give an accurate count to the coordinator prior to the event. Since Sunday is not one of their meal prep days, we will be making cards and decorating bags that they use when delivering meals.
