20s/30s Kitsilano Beach Event

Hello,
This will be the first Kits meet of the year. The last one was cancelled due to bad weather but now mid summer it should be good.

I've also been ill/busy so I haven't able to organize for a while.

Back to the description:
There's nothing like drinking at the beach on a Friday evening and making some new friends. Also, people bring beach games if you have and willing to share. If anyone has a speaker for music that is great too, the beach is so big we can have multiple speakers.

This will be a fun social hangout, if you are new to meetup I recommend you come early as if you come late and there are so many people that can be overwhelming for your first time.

What to bring?

• BYOB = bring your own beer, if you don't drink we won't judge you. Drinking at kits beach is legal :)
• Beach games you would like to share with the group. Please bring, makes the event fun.
• Beach Towel for sitting on the sand

What if you don't know what to bring? No worries, just bring yourself.

The Normal and Important Rules

Be respectful to others, people are coming to this group to make friends and enjoy themselves.
Any type of harassment is not accepted, and will not be condoned.
If you have any issues, or worries, please speak to the host on the night.
The host will also speak to the venue/establishment, where the event is being held, so they're also informed of the situation.

Strict RSVP: If you cannot make the event for whatever reason, simply change your RSVP to "not going." That allows us to moderate the attendance and planning of events. Thank you.
As a courtesy to the bar, for hosting us, please make sure you order 1 drink. It does not have to be alcoholic, if you do not drink, peer pressure is not allowed in this group. Also, please drink responsibly.
And if you do order drinks / food, remember to pay your tab before leaving 🤪!
