Charity Happy Hour at Cafe Asia!

UPDATE #3: Drink specials are $4 Corona Lights, $5 20s & 30s Superstar drinks, and $6 house wine until 8pm!

UPDATE #2: Per my email, I need volunteers to help sign people in with name tags and to meet / greet folks! This is a great way to meet people, and help kick start a friendly vibe to the event. I need volunteers to fill 30 minute slots (which goes by very fast) on the hour. If you can help, please send me an email letting me know which top three time slots you prefer (in order of preference)!

UPDATE #1: Looks like this will be a good one! So tell a friend, come on out, meet new people, and help support a good cause! And again, I encourage everyone to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE!

Our happy hour will benefit the Avon Breast Cancer Foundation... www.avonwalk.org... a philanthropy that raises funds and awareness for advancing access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer... suggested $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to the Avon Breast Cancer Foundation and 20% of donations will go to the 20s & 30s Going Out Group to cover Meetup fees and expenses.

DJ Saam will be spinning loungy groovy beats for us. Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 200 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around.

If you haven't been there before, Cafe Asia puts a modern spin on everything from presentation to performance. Well known for it's pan Asian cuisine, it also houses two large full service bars!! 21+

Metro and Parking

Closest Metro is Farragut West (Orange / Blue lines), I suggest Metro / cabbing it (especially during rush hour). I also recommend using wmata.com (http://www.wmata.com) for travel plans. Don't forget to account for Metro, traffic, and parking delays. If you are driving, you will need to find street parking or a garage.
