Let's kick off January 2013 with another breakfast at the same time and place.

Discussion Topic of the Month: Outsourcing

Brent Wisener will be giving a 5-minute talk about outsourcing, to get the conversation started.

1-Minute Pitches/Intros

Once everyone arrives, we'll go around the table with introductions. You'll have exactly 1 minute to introduce yourself and pitch your startup idea. (If you're an entrepreneur who hasn't settled on an idea yet, or if you're in stealth, then use the minute to talk about yourself.)

Need Feedback?

If you need feedback on a demo, business plan, or anything else related to your tech startup, bring it with you.

Ground Rules

These ground rules to help create a nice environment for sharing ideas and feedback:

1. Only attend if you're an actual tech startup founder, +1 guest of one, or planning to start a tech startup. If you are just coming to sell products/services to entrepreneurs, this is the wrong place for you, sorry! This is also the wrong place for non-tech business owners.

2. No passing out NDAs or sending them out by email to members.

3. Respect the confidentiality of each other's ideas and work. What happens in this meetup stays in this meetup, unless explicitly stated.

Logistics Notes

Find us at the long copper table in the back. Look for a sign that says "Tech Startups". If you can't find it, don't give up looking! I guarantee that we'll be there.

Aroma Cafe takes breakfast orders at the front counter. If you want breakfast or coffee, order there and you'll be given a number. Then they'll bring your food out to the table.

I recommend arriving early to avoid the breakfast line. (Their breakfast is good!)

There is lots of street parking nearby.
