Sailing Cruise to Cape Lookout Bight

My next cruise is going to be a Blackbeard Sailing Club cruise to the Cape Lookout bight. I have two buddies who are coming along. I am looking for 1 to 2 more sailors. I am self employed. Most of my buddies don't have flexible schedules. I need crew. We would depart Durham from my home between 1800 and 1900 on Thursday, July 31, 2025 driving in my Ford Expedition. 407 Oakwood Ave, Durham. We would overnight aboard her majesty's ship. We would then join the Blackbeard fleet which is departing at 0900 on Friday, August 1. The fleet will proceed to the bight via Adams Creek. The fleet will stay on Anchor for two nights. We would return Sunday. I am NOT a captain for hire. I purchase all the vehicle fuel for the drive there and back and all diesel fuel for the sailboat. The crew generally splits groceries and won't let me pay anything. I stopped drinking in 2011 so I don't require expensive beer. Other guys will drink beer onboard and that is fine with me. I don't want folks getting sloshed, because that is dangerous. I will have along some fishing gear, two standup paddleboards, one RIB with 2.5 Hp outboard and if space permits, one double hard-shell kayak. Ken Gasch 919-475-8866
