Scala's Present and Future
Details
Scala's Present and Future is looking increasingly...well...interesting.
Things like Caprese and Odersky's typeclasses proposal are major reworkings of the language.
The JVM is changing in fundamental ways, and Java is adopting features from Scala wholesale.
And at the same time Scala's rankings are falling, and folks are discussing loudly and openly where Scala needs to go to avoid becoming a footnote.
Please join us for a fun and interesting discussion!
