The 2nd Annual Glow Up! Water Lantern Festival

Come take part in a water lantern festival. Decorate a water lantern and set it afloat on the Conservation World pond. Materials will be provided. Johnny O's mini Donuts and Greenie's Grill will have food for sale, and live music will be provided 5-7. There will be art and yard games set up,

You can purchase a ticket for $10 at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-2nd-annual-glow-up-tickets-1555058695419 or pay 15$ at the gate. If you wish to attend but not decorate a lantern, it is only $5. There are only 500 lanterns available for purchase.

The event will be on the IL state grounds in the Conservation World area right next to the Aging Department and the Department of Natural Resources. Let's meet at the Conservation World Pond where the event will take place. I will have a big sign for "217 Friends" so you can find the group. Once I get to the event, I will make comments down below where I am standing so you can find the group. If you are late or can't find the group, comment down below. I'll be checking my phone a lot to make sure that everyone can find the group.

The event is from 4-8 but let's meet at 6pm so that it is hopefully a little darker and the lantern glows look nice.
