Scoot Around The Lake

Scoot Around the Lake is a scooter only competition. It is one lap around Lake Okeechobee. There will be a route given the morning of the event. This is the route you must follow. Part of the event is your navigation skill. The route will include several checkpoints where you will have to stop and take a picture of your scooter on the stand in front of the checkpoint. This test your skills of observation. All traffic laws must be obeyed as this is a rally on open roads. It is not a RACE. There will be three classes. Class A will be 50cc-80cc, class B will be 149cc-170cc, class C will be anything over 170cc to a limit of 250cc. Each class will start separately. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finnishers in each class. This is the first year of what will be an annual event. Each rider must wear a DOT approved helmet. You will receive an email confirming your registration. You will also be assigned a number. this number must be visible on the left and right side of your scooter. Numbers used must be at least six inches. A $10.00 fee will be collected at the event. Cash only.
