Moonlight Canoe Benefit for US Olympic Kayakers: Krizstina Zur & Richard Sprout

Details
Paddle under a shimmering full moon with expert guide, Danny Hough. The evening begins with a gourmet picnic, then sets out into the pink layers of a setting sun over the glassy waters of the Balboa Back Bay in Newport Beach. It's an easy paddle in Hawaiian Outrigger Canoes, and passes through a magnificent bird estuary, over Amsterdam-like canals lined with the quaint and stunning homes on Balboa's Islands. The area's wild life and sites can include birds, sea lions, dolphins and more. If you're lucky Danny may extend the evening by stopping for hot chocolate or frozen banana on the island. You'll then paddle back under tranquil golden moonlit waters. We will go out on the larger, even more steady, Hawaiian outrigger canoes.
