Enhance Your R Performance and Flexibility with Rcpp by Jon Meek

We will discuss R performance issues, benchmarking, and using Rcpp to enable the use of C++ code from R. Using Rcpp to interface to existing libraries will be demonstrated. Example code will use the Rcpp and microbenchmark packages. If you do not have Rcpp on your laptop you can install the devtools package.

Note that no C/C++ experience is required to get started with Rcpp.
