This is our first session after the summer break, and we are offering a special session featuring a keynote speech by Belinda Filippelli, a digital marketer by day and comedian by night. She knows all about stage presence, humour, storytelling and more.

Description:
Before I ever stepped on a comedy stage, I spent years as a business owner giving pitches, leading workshops, and teaching teams, so I thought of myself as a good speaker. But what I learned once I started doing comedy is the reason people connect with you, buy from you, and even fall in love with you is never for your perfection but for your vulnerabilities. In this talk, I’ll share how letting go of polished, “professional” speaking transformed not only how I show up on stage, but how I connect in business and in life. If you want to be a better speaker, don’t aim for perfect, aim for real.

😄 22@ Barcelona Toastmasters provides you with a friendly and mutually supportive learning environment to develop your public speaking and leadership skills and invites you to a night full of prepared speeches, fun improvisations.
😉 The meeting includes 3 prepared speeches and 2-6 improvised speeches. We learn through constructive feedback and mentorship.
🎤 All the roles in the event will be taken by our existing members who have signed up to Toastmasters. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in our table topics section which comprises short impromptu speeches. Guests from Meetup do not have to prepare speeches.
