"Blogging and Your Future" by John Saddington

Blogging has been and will most likely continue to be the most important part of my professional career as it's been foundational in too many ways to count. It has helped me build teams, raise venture capital, test and prove product concepts, and even get new job offers and exciting opportunities to name just a few. If there was ever a time to start blogging it is now and I hope to provide some context for how this is done as well as demystify many of the excuses that you may have for not starting.

As you might imagine, it's more than just "blogging" but it's where we'll start the conversation. I hope to make a blogger out of all of you - so hope to see you there!

John (http://john.do/about/), a serial entrepreneur, is a graduate of Georgia Tech and has two Master degrees from Dallas Seminary. He’s spent time as a engineer and executive in the Fortune 50 (JnJ, Dell, Fox, NewsCorp) as well as leading his own bootstrapped and venture-funded startups.

He’s contributed to and his work has been featured on CNN, TechCrunch, Mashable, The Next Web, and more. He leads his teams, coaches other startups, and spends time with his wife and 2 daughters.

He currently is a Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at The Iron Yard, a technology accelerator, incubator, and code school. He also continues to work on his new iOS application, Pressgram (http://pressgr.am), which was successfully funded through Kickstarter, that combines filtered photos with blogging.
