Toronto Tourist: The 2023 Caribana Grande Parade at Exhibition Place (Aug 5)

Jump and wave in an ocean of music and color with millions of locals and international guests from around the world at the 2023 Caribana Grande Parade on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Every year the peoples of the Caribbean sea host this event in celebration of freedom and the end of slavery on Emancipation Day Weekend.

Each band crosses the stage before a panel of judges to present the year's theme and unique display of artistry, storytelling and performance before making its way along Lakeshore Boulevard at this day long outdoor festival and parade.

Visit the vendors along the route for a cultural explosion of taste while enjoying a breathtaking view of the Toronto harbourfront. There will be a wide variety of Caribbean vendors to choose from. Immerse yourself in true Caribbean flavor and don't be afraid to team up try everything for a great foodie experience.

Experience the spirit of Carnival with us!

For the full experience we will need to be there by 10 am. By then the judges will have already decided on the winning bands, costumes and performances, and the groups become more compact as more and more participants fill the ranks, and squeeze through the crowds for a closer look.

Wear cool clothes and comfortable shoes and meet us at Starbucks beside Hotel X at Exhibition Place.
