Unimos WifiParty at the YLD Office

Are you interested in joining a free (as in freedom of speech) Wifi network called Unimos (http://unimos.net/doku.php)?

Come next 26th of January, we'll help you get started.

If you want to fully enjoy the workshop we recommend you to arrive with your wifi router. We recommend https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd . You can find it in usual hardware stores (look for TP-Link's TL -WR841N - it has identical features to the TL-WR841ND with the exception of the detachable antenna and it only costs ~20 €).

But if you already have your own, or a RaspberryPi with Wifi, it may work too, just check if it is compatible with this list (https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start).

• Installation of OpenWRT on your device and configuration

• Networking :)

This event is intended to be monthly. Every month, we'll help people to get started to join Unimos. If you have ideas, presentations, cookies, beers, fun, jokes, happiness, technical skills (or not), do not hesitate to bring them, as we'll need as much resources as possible. :)
