Join me for the first of hopefully a few walks through the Elham Valley!

We’ll meet in the small square in front of St Mary’s Church, where you will find free parking. If there are no spaces, you will find plenty of on street parking in the neighbouring roads.

For those taking the bus, you will need to catch the number 17. From Canterbury, the bus stops in Elham at 10:36; from Folkestone, it will stop at 10:50.

We will set off around 11:15.

The walk will take us into the hills, across fields and along country lanes. Dogs are welcome but please note that the route contains several stiles, which may require you to carry your dog over.

The route is circular and we will return to the meeting place at the end, where for those who are keen we can enjoy a well-earned drink at the lovely King’s Arms pub in the square! 🍻

The whole walk should take around 90 minutes and is approximately 3.5 miles. Sturdy footwear is recommended, and please note there are some inclines on the route.

Look forward to seeing you there!
