Frederick, CO Balloon Festival

Celebrate 13 years of Frederick In Flight with a hot air balloon lift. Pilots arrive at 5AM to start their preparations, sunrise is at 5:33 AM, and the balloons lift around 6 am, weather permitting. Come prepared to photograph balloons being inflated, pilots and passengers getting aboard, and then the lift off. Dress for early morning chill. If the weather forces a cancellation, we'll try to get the word out as early as possible. We may move the event to Sunday at the same time if that happens.
